The Film - given informations

Those images show what we were told to do with the film to load it into the camera and then how to take it out and develop it into the physical form photographs.

We were also given this document:

Film Processing
(Ilford HP5 400 ISO Film)

•    Before you start, have all of your chemicals measured out and ready to use:
•    300ml of each chemical is sufficient for 1 film and 600ml of each is sufficient for 2 films
•    The lid must stay on the tank throughout until the fixing is complete

Develop

•    Dilute Developer 1:1 with water (for 1 film: 150ml developer to 150ml water, for 2 films 300ml developer to 300ml water)
•    Ensure your water is the right temperature before you add your chemical: 22oC to obtain a working temperature of 20-21oC
•    13 minutes in total:
•    Agitate continuously for the first 30 seconds
•    Then agitate every 30 seconds
•    Empty used Developer back into the beaker

Stop
•    Pour the Stop Bath into the tank (300ml for one film, 600ml for 2)
•    Agitate for 30 seconds
•    Empty the Stop Bath back into the beaker

Fix
•    Pour the Fixer into the tank (300ml for one film, 600ml for 2)
•    5 minutes in total:
•    Agitate continuously for the first 30 seconds
•    Then agitate every 30 seconds
•    Empty the Fixer back into the beaker

Wash
•    Running water
•    10 minutes
•    With the tank still full of water, remove the spool(s) with the film on it and add half a cap of Wetting Agent to the tank.
•    Swirl the spools in the water and Wetting Agent mixture, but not so aggressively as to create bubbles
•    Empty the tank
Hang to dry
•    Carefully remove the film from the spool without kinking it
•    Take 2 clips from the drying cabinet and close the door if it is in use.  Attach one to the top and one to the bottom and hang in the cabinet to dry
•    Once dry, immediately cut into length of 6 frames and place carefully in a negative sleeve.

HANDLE THE FILM AS LITTLE AS POSSIBLE
ALWAYS KEEP THE FILM IN THE NEGATIVE SLEEVE UNLESS IN USE

Please tidy up:
•    Return the Stop and Fixer to the Stop and Fixer bottles, tip the Developer into the waste tank.
•    Wash up all beaker, tanks, spools etc and leave to dry
•    Return timers and thermometers
•    Discard remained of the film canister
